Book Your Legal Speakers Now

It’s that time of year again, when schools, libraries and community agencies are starting up their fall classes, events and meetings.  Many are interested in having a lawyer with expertise in a particular area of the law talk to their group.  Do you have an event that might benefit from the participation of a legal expert?  Then, the Speakers’ Bureau operated by Public Legal Education and Information Service of NB (PLEIS-NB) and the Canadian Bar Association-New Brunswick Branch may be just the service you need.

Some popular topics this past year were “wills and estate planning”, “powers of attorney”, “board governance”, “family law” and “youth in conflict with the law”.  If you are interested in learning more on these, or other legal topics, contact PLEIS-NB to book a speaker.  We do require at least 2-3 weeks advance notice, but it is likely that we can find a lawyer who is willing to make a free presentation to your group.  And, PLEIS-NB is usually able to provide the audience with relevant, free take-away resources such as booklets, pamphlets, and quizzes.

For more information about booking a speaker, check out our Speakers Bureau pamphlet, call 506-453-5369 or fax 506-462-5193.
