Bully prevention resources for children updated

PLEIS-NB is pleased to announce that we have revised the resource materials that accompany our popular handbook called "Let's Stop Bullies!".  We hope that that teachers, parents and others will make use of them to help talk about bullying to young children.

"Let's Stop Bullies!" explores the adventures of Aspin the Skunk as he learns ways to deal with bullying. The Activity Book is designed to help elementary school-aged children to identify bullying, understand the consequences of bullying, recognize the role of by-standers and learn strategies for creating a bully free environment.  The Parent's Guide has been extensively updated so that adults who are trying to teach children about the issue of bullying are better prepared and are aware of some of the excellent bully prevention resources available across Canada.

PLEIS-NB is a non-profit organization that develops information materials about the law.  We receive funding and in-kind support from Justice Canada, the New Brunswick Law Foundation and the New Brunswick Office of the Attorney General.  Most of our publications are available free of charge for quantities up to 50.  In order to offset the costs of reprinting, there is a charge of $0.50 for amounts over that limit. However, all of our publications are available to download from our website – www.legal-info-legale.nb.ca

For further information or to order copies, you can contact our office at P.O. Box 6000, Fredericton, NB  E3B 5H1, or call us at (506) 453-5369 or by email at pleisnb@web.ca.
