Bilingual Administrative Assistant (full-time)

Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick is a non-profit organization with a mandate to educate the public about the law. We are seeking a bilingual administrative assistant to assist in all aspects of office management.

 Primary Duties will include:

  • answering phones and dealing with the public in a polite and timely fashion
  • photocopying, faxing, conducting mail outs
  • setting up meetings and booking conference calls
  • inventory management, entering data into electronic databases and preparing reports
  • monitoring and upkeep of websites
  • overseeing and reporting on registration for the parenting after separation course in accordance with protocols established by PLEIS-NB

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Office experience especially dealing with the public in a front line reception or telephone answering service capacity
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent bilingual communication skills who enjoys working in a fast paced office environment. Knowledge of the legal system would be an asset.
