What's New

Get ready for the Child Rights Education Week- November 14-20!

This year’s Child Rights Education Week (CREW) theme will focus on “The Right to be Heard” – Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The right to be heard includes a child’s right to express their opinions, frustrations, or enthusiasm; their right to be heard by the adults around them and also their peers and other children; and their right to be heard when important decisions are being made that will impact them.

The right to be heard is a right that is found in many laws across Canada. For more information about a child’s right to be heard in New Brunswick or to register your activities go to www.cyanb.ca/en/education/crew-national.
