Canada’s Child Day – November 20

Bill C-371, also known as the Child Day Act, was passed by the Parliament of Canada in 1993, and designates November 20th, as Child Day. This commemorates the passing of The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of the Child and The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is a day to support the human rights of children, but also about voicing concerns about children and educating our children about their rights and responsibilities.
